2014 Journal

2014 was our most successful year yet! Five bull elk were harvested by bow (four were 6x6 and one was 6x7).  Fourteen cow elk and one 6x6 bull were harvested by rifle. We also had one mule deer buck harvested by a youth hunter in his first year hunting.

 

The quantity and quality of the forage this year was excellent and led to superb animal health. The rut was intense and bugling continued through the bow season and into the rifle season.
