This was the mildest Fall weather in decades, which made hunting and guiding very enjoyable.
Elk numbers are increasing with bugles to numerous to count! Again five bulls were killed in archery season. With 3 cancellations and no “successful” applicants in the drawing for rifle bull elk hunts there will likely be plenty of bulls around for next year.
Two mule deer bucks were harvested; one was the largest ever shot on our ranch (see photo). Sixteen very fat cow elk were taken along with six coyotes!
